One of the highlights of spending the holidays in Vancouver is the amazing Christmas Lights Tour put on by The Vancouver Trolley Company. The beautifully decorated Trolleys are equipped with Karaoke machines so that the guests can sing their favourite Christmas songs as they are transported through the city.Our tour travelled throughout the streets of Vancouver to view the beautiful lights around the city before arriving at the Festival of Lights at the Van Dusen Botanical Gardens.  Our second stop of the evening was at Bright Nights in Stanley Park. Admission to the Van Dusen Botanical Garden was included in the tour.

The tour departs nightly at 6:30 PM from Canada Place and at 6:45 PM from the Art Gallery on Howe Street. They also provide pick-up from other hotels in the area, so your best bet would be to give them a call and see if they do pick-up from your hotel.

The tours start on Dec. 1 and continue on until Dec. 31.Tour rates are $30 for adults & $20 for children aged 4-15. Family rate is $85 for 2 adults & 2 kids plus applicable taxes.I highly recommend calling and making reservations in advance, as the nightly tour does fill up, especially on weekends and when the weather is good.
