Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival

Vancouver’s Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival is a professional theatre company that stages four productions repertory every June through September. The 2008 season starts on May 29 and goes through to September 21, 2008.
Performances are on stages in open ended tents on the waterfront in Vanier Park and at Kits Point, both locations offer a spectacular view of mountains, sea and the fantastic Vancouver city skyline.
This season Bard on the Beach will be performing Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, King Lear, The Tempest and Titus Andronicus.

April Fool’s Day or All Fool’s Day occurs annually on April 1st.
The day is generally observed by playing practical jokes on a victim, who becomes know as an April Fool.
