Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade

888971_smiles_of_joy.jpgThe Vaisakhi Parade, organized by Khalsa Diwan Society, will be taking place on April 18 in Vancouver’s “Little India” district.
The parade will start at 11am at the Ross Street Temple and will head north on Main Street, east on 49th, south on Fraser Street, then along 57th back to the Ross Street Temple.
The annual parade draws an increasing number of spectators every year, celebrates the Sikh New Year. The parade and festivities will last throughout the day, wrapping up at the Temple at 4pm.
