A client came in and seriously had the nerve/arrogance to complain to our desk staff that the mall landlords don't allow smoking anywhere on the property. If you come on to private property and break the rules laid out, regardless if BC Law doesn't prohibit you from smoking in your own private spaces, it definitely states that land owners can identify trespassers and remove them if necessary. Now I have been there before, so it was not my first visit. There are so few rules, and the adults and children alike are so respectful of others, themselves, and society... the supposed developing countries. I think we are so wrong in so many areas.... I wonder if we were treated as adults, if we would make the right decisions, sometimes I think the laws go a little overboard. I think in this case it is a good thing, I know I do not have to be told this is a bad situation, I know it is wrong to smoke in an enclosed place with someone in there who is a child, non smoker etc. But thanks to Big brother they are making sure I follow the moral road. Sometimes I wonder.....
