Thought it would be interesting to list some of the personalities/celebrities who are originally from or have spent considerable time residing in Vancouver. You can often spot some of your favorite celebrites in the up-scale restaurants and hotels around the downtown Vancouver area…so keep your eyes open!

I’m a flight attendant and regularly work the Los Angeles-Vancouver flights. I can always count on seeing some actor or musician on the plane.
Half the time I have no idea who they are but I can always spot them reading their script. Vancouver is the new Hollywood!
I was once in line behind Leslie Nielson in a Safeway in the West End. My milk fell over the divider into his groceries and I looked up, apologized, and chatted a bit with him not realizing who he was until the clerk told me. I though he looked familiar but I couldn’t place him…

Thank you for your comment. I must say, I have not been all that lucky with running into stars…though my brother-in-law who works in the Restaurant industry…seems to see, serve them all the time.
Really though in my opinion they are just people…
