Whistler Creekside, Whistler Olympic Park and The Whistler Sliding Center are a success thanks to the hard work of the construction crews. The Vancouver Organizing Committee will open the doors to Whistler Olympic Park on Saturday December 15, 2007, providing access for both high-performance athlete training and recreational use. Saturday&#8217;s activities will see more then 100 cross-country ski competitors take to the trails in Coast Cup #1, Whistler Olympic Park&#8217;s first officially registered competition. Organized by the Hollyburn Jackrabbit Ski Club, the race is open to all participants [...]<p>Post from: <a href="http://www.thevancouvertraveler.com">The Vancouver Traveler</a></p> ]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://b5media_b4.s3.amazonaws.com/59/files/2007/12/2010welcome.jpg" title="Whistler Olympic Park"><img src="http://b5media_b4.s3.amazonaws.com/59/files/2007/12/2010welcome.jpg" title="Whistler Olympic Park" alt="Whistler Olympic Park" align="right" border="0" height="134" width="206" /></a>The Whistler venues for the <strong>2010 Winter Olympics</strong> has been completed on-time and on-budget!<br /> <em> Whistler Creekside</em>, <em>Whistler Olympic Park</em> and <em>The Whistler Sliding Center </em>are a success thanks to the hard work of the construction crews.</p> <p>The Vancouver Organizing Committee will open the doors to Whistler Olympic Park on Saturday December 15, 2007, providing access for both high-performance athlete training and recreational use.<br /> Saturday&#8217;s activities will see more then 100 cross-country ski competitors take to the trails in <strong>Coast Cup #1</strong>, Whistler Olympic Park&#8217;s first officially registered competition.</p> <p>Organized by the <em>Hollyburn Jackrabbit Ski Club</em>, the race is open to all participants of all experience levels, as well as new skiers as young as age 6.
