Lighthouse in Stanley Park
The Lighthouse in Stanley Park is located at Brockton Point.
From here you have a magnificant view of the Burrard Inlet and the Lion’s Gate Bridge, which takes you over to the North Shore.
This is also a great spot to see the cruise ships head in and out of Vancouver!

The Beachcombers
The Beachcombers 35th Anniversary Events are planned for Gibsons, British Columbia. The Beachcombers was one of the longest running Canadian TV show. I remember watching Sunday evenings as a young boy. Here is proof that Molly’s is still standing!

Snowmen Playing in the BC Mountains
Found these adorable pictures and I had to share them with you…..
“Last winter we assigned photographers to create a live-action snowmen in parks around BC. Two especially creative shooters, David R Glunds of Nelson, BC (who visited Kokanee Galcier Park) and Adam Gibbs of New Westminster BC (Mount Seymour Park) produced many magical images.”

Fishing Anyone
If there is one thing that comes to mind about the West Coast of Canada, it is the beautiful blue cool water….and fishing boats. This is a small little fishing village up the coast from Vancouver. There is always a beautiful and rustic place to visit on those Sunday afternoon’s when you have nothing to do.
