This comes from the Nudibranchs family. Currently there are hundreds of them on each of the dive sites that you can visit in the Sechelt inlet, this image was taken in Tuwanek in about 60 feet of water. When swimming they appear to be performing a beautiful ballet dance.

Hello there, and thank you so much for your comment. I think they are beautiful as well. I was out diving today once again…came across another 2 in fairly shallow water. They are so very graceful.

Thank you for your comments. Yes they are pretty cool. Very difficult to photograph…but well worth it. Never met a diver yet that do not find Nudibranch’s beautiful as there are so many different types all over the world…though I think the ones in this area are the largest.
