AntiquesVancouver’s annual favorite, is being held in the historic neighborhood of Kerrisdale. This show is featuring 60 specialty vendors with over 250 tables of antiques, retro design and vintage collectibles.

This is the 7th annual event and it promises to deliver the goods, some of the items to look forward to;

  • Antiquarian books
  • Old advertising & memorabilia, and much more

One of the new things for the 2008 fair is the conduct of Appraisal Clinics on Both Days!

]]> Sonic Boom 2008An annual Festival of New Music Composers will be held over 4 nights from (10 – 13 April). The works of 41 different composers will be featured, at the Western Front in Vancouver (303 East 8th Avenue).

The Festival is in it’s 21st year, and this festival is widely thought of as one of Canada’s most important showcases for new work, which includes both mature and emerging composers.

For of this years composers are;

  • Leslis Yyeda
  • Mark Armanini
  • Jin Zhang
  • Alexander Pecheyuk
