Cultural Olympiad 2008

Celebrating the beginning of the two year countdown to the Vancouver/Whistler 2010 Winter Olympics, this series of events highlights talent not only from around BC, but also from around the world.
Various venues with be hosting hundreds of performances of contemporary, classical and Aboriginal music,, literary arts, theater, dance and film. The impressive line-up of events will begin February 1 and run through to March 21, 2008.

The Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad Gala Concert takes place on February 12, and includes performances by Feist, Suzie McNeil, Ron Sexsmith, Leela Gilday, Jorane and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Whistler Celebration 2010

Whistler will host a showcase of performing arts, literary events, film screenings, snow sculpting, art exhibitions and outdoor stage and street performances in support of the Vancouver-Whistler 2010 Winter Olympics.

The party will being February 1st and run straight through to the end of the month.

PuSh International Performing Arts Festival

The 4th annual PuSh International Performing Arts Festival will take place in Vancouver from January 16 to February 3, 2008.
The PuSh festival features a line-up of theater, dance and music from some of Vancouver’s most exciting companies and an array of artist from around the world.
There are a total of 23 shows, taking place at 15 different venues.
