With the Christmas break upon us, there is plenty of spare time to get out and enjoy a good dive. Yes the water will be a chilly 48 degrees, but the visibility will be amazing, in around 30 – 40 foot level. So, if you find yourself up on the Sunshine coast, you should make arrangements to dive the HMCS CHAUDIERE, a 1950’s vintage Destroyer Escort.

Scuba Dive, in BC? What are you nuts!! The water is way to cold. That certainly is a possibility, however we still do it. British Columbia has some of the premier cold water diving in the world! From marine life to wreck dives, salt water to fresh water we certainly have it all.

Some of the best diving can be found on Vancouver Island. In particular Campbell River, Barkley Sound, the Greater Victoria and anywhere in between. One dive site that I hold near and dear to my heart is the HMCS Saskatchewan. …read more
