Upcoming Concert Performances

by KennyG on February 23rd, 2008

Spring is upon us and with it brings a long list of concerts to look forward to in the upcoming months!
Here are just some of the ones I am looking forward to:

The Foo Fights will hit the Vancouver Coliseum on March 30 and will be playing music off of their current CD “Echo, Silence, Patience and Grace.
Bruce Spingsteen and his E Street Band will be at GM Place on March 31, which will surely be one of the most anticipated concerts of the spring.
Eddie Vedder, the frontman of Pearl Jam, will be at the Vancouver Center for the Performing Arts on April 2, for one of only seven shows he is doing on the West Coast.
One of my favorites, Cat Power, will surely not disappoint with her performance on April 10 at the Vogue Theater. She recently just put out a CD of cover-songs called Jukebox, and will also be performing songs from her other two fairly recent CD’s, The Greatest and Moon Pix.
And last, but definately not least, R.E.M will be headlining a triple-line up with Modest Mouse and National at Deerlake Park on May 23. It should be a great night of music!
